Thank you again for everything you brought to our community. The kids are talking about your visit and bubbling over with excitement. When I visited classrooms today everyone had something to share about what they learned from you. At dismissal the parents kept commenting on how your visit has inspired their children to read and write more. What a gift!

Thanks so much. I heard so many comments that you were the best author we’ve had. You were so good going between all the different levels and adapting.

I want to recommend John Coy for an author visit. He spent two days at our school and did a fantastic job with our students. He directed writing workshops for all our third, fourth, and fifth grade students. He inspired all of us to write. He also talked about his writing and the publishing process and shared his books with students. If you ever have the opportunity to have John to your school, don’t pass up the chance!

John is a thoughtful, clear, and engaging presenter. I appreciate his rare talent for bringing people together as a group and at the same time treating them as individuals. He engages listeners’ senses and awareness of themselves in the world, making the experience wonderfully memorable.

John is very easy to work with, extremely accommodating, and interested in what we wanted for our students. We all appreciated his kind and gentle manner, his concern for students, and his commitment to writing. |
